Iran movie to hit silver screen in March

Iranian comedy ‘The Good, the Bad and the Frivolous’, is to be screened at Iranian cinemas in March.

Directed by Peyman Qasemkhani, the movie is scheduled to go on the silver screen during Noruz, the Persian New Year celebrations.

Iran’s popular actors Hamid Farrokhnejad, Pejamn Jamshidi and Sam Derakhshani have starred in ‘The Good, the Bad and the Frivolous’.

Pejman Jamshidi and Sam Derakhshani made names as partners in the popular Iranian series ‘Pejman’.

The film narrates the story of a film director who has to use two superstars for his new film contrary to his desires.

‘The Good, the Bad and the Frivolous’ premiered in Iran at the 35th Fajr Film Festival.

The 35 edition of Fajr Film Festival will wrap up on February 10.

Since its establishment, Fajr Film Festival has played a vital role in the development of the Iranian Cinema.

Five other movies are to be screened in Iranian cinemas during Noruz.
